Anil Dubey Ph.D.-Lab Director
Dr. Dubey has been working in the field of medical assisted reproduction and In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) for over 25 years. He is an Embryologist and Scientific Laboratory Director for IVF laboratories. He is a certified High-Complexity Clinical Laboratory Director (HCLD) by the American Association of Bioanalysts, which is a requirement for the position of IVF lab director. He is also board certified as a Reproductive Embryologist (EMB) by the American College of Embryology.
Previously, Dr. Dubey was the Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of the IVF Lab in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology, Fertility, and IVF at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC. Before joining George Washington University, he was the Associate Professor and Director of the IVF Lab at the New England Medical Center, Tufts University in Boston, USA.
Dr. Dubey completed his formal education in India. He received his PhD Reproductive Physiology in 1977 from the Cancer Research Institute, University of Mumbai in Mumbai, India. He completed his postdoctoral research AlIMS New Delhi, Cambridge University in Cambridge, England and at the University of Pittsburgh from 1982-85. Prior to entering into the clinical field, Dr. Dubey carried out basic science research in the area of reproductive physiology and published numerous research papers.
He has trained many embryologists at national and international levels while establishing and supporting several IVF laboratories. He serves as a College of American Pathologists (CAP) lab inspector in the United States. He was also a member of the Advisory board for the Journal of Fertility and Sterility and served on various committees at George Washington University. Currently, he is on the editorial board of the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics. He is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, American Board of Bioanalysis and American College of Embryology.
Dr. Dubey has been instrumental in the development and inception of the Jaipur Fertility center, Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital and the Mahatma Gandhi Medical and Technology University in Jaipur, India where he serves as a member of the Board of Management.
Dr. Dubey holds a stellar reputation for authoring numerous scientific publications in ART. In 2012, he authored Infertility: Diagnosis, Management and IVF featuring contributions from prominent researchers and clinicians in IVF and Reproductive Endocrinology.
He recognizes the enormous privilege of working with human embryos in the IVF lab and is dedicated to producing positive outcomes and giving the gift of life to his patients.
Dr. Dubey is also currently an Adjunt Professor at George Washington University.
