Ovulation induction is a technique that uses fertility medications to stimulate the release of one or more eggs from the ovary. In vitro fertilization (IVF) and the related procedures of intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and assisted hatching are collectively known as assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs). These procedures require the egg and sperm be combined outside of the body in a high complexity laboratory. Once fertilization occurs, the embryos are prepared for transfer into the uterus. Third Party Reproduction
The three components needed to achieve pregnancy are an egg, sperm, and a uterus. For couples that don't have all of these components, there are options!
