Ovulation Induction

Ovulation induction is a technique that uses fertility medications to stimulate the release of one or more eggs from the ovary. Inducing the release of more than one egg can significantly increase the per cycle chance of pregnancy.

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)
In vitro fertilization (IVF) and the related procedures of intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and assisted hatching are collectively known as assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs).  These procedures require the egg and sperm be combined outside of the body in a high complexity laboratory. Once fertilization occurs, the embryos are prepared for transfer into the uterus.

Third Party Reproduction

The three components needed to achieve pregnancy are an egg, sperm, and a uterus. For couples that don't have all of these components, there are options. Donors for both eggs and sperm can be found through different agencies and there are adoption agencies that specialize in the adoption of embryos.
