Fertility Assessment

​With a fertility assessment, you will undergo a series of tests to help determine your reproductive potential.  A fertility assessment differs from an evaluation & diagnosis for infertility, and is available for women, men. or couples who would like to understand their fertility potential before trying to conceive on their own, if they have known underlying medical conditions that may impair fertility (but they do not have an infertility diagnosis), or if they are considering egg freezing, sperm cryopreservation, or embryo banking.

Fertility Assessment Women

The following services are included in Missouri Fertility's fertility assessment for women:
  • New Patient Physician Consult
  • Baseline Ultrasound that evaluates the uterus and antral follicle count (number of potential eggs in the ovaries)
  • Day 3 Hormones including FSH, LH, Estradiol
  • Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) Lab Work
  • Assessment of the quantity of eggs
  • Follow-up with physician to review test results

Fertility Assessment Men

The following services are included in Missouri Fertility's fertility assessment for men:
  • Semen Analysis
  • Assessment of sperm count, motility, morphology, volume and other characteristics 
  • The semen analysis is best done before a follow-up with our staff or physician
  • The semen analysis does not need a referral, our staff will call you with results
  • Results requiring in-depth discussion will have a follow-up appointment with our physician

​A semen analysis is also available via appointment or walk-in with a referral doctor's lab order, Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  Results will be returned to the referring physician's office.

Fertility Assessment: Couple

The above fertility assessments are available to couples who would like to begin trying to conceive on their own, but they have questions or concerns about their fertility potential now, would like to avoid wasting time due to underlying medical conditions, or are interested in delaying parenthood and would like to know more about Embryo Banking, Egg Freezing, or Sperm Cryopreservation.
