Referring Physicians

Thank you for entrusting us with the care of your patients. At Missouri Fertility, we are committed to the collaboration of your patient’s well being. We will keep you informed of your patient’s progress and refer them back to their OB/Gyn office once they achieve a pregnancy.

When patients first come in to meet with us, it is helpful to have a copy of their medical records detailing any previous evaluation and/or treatment.

Please do not hesitate to call and speak with Dr. Wilshire anytime you have a question about your patients!

We ask that you consider referring patients to an infertility specialist in the following situations:
  • Day two or three FSH level of 8.0 or above
  • Female under 35 who has tried to conceive for one year without success
  • Female over 35 and over wanting to conceive, or has tried for six months without success
  • History of miscarriage
  • Abnormal semen analysis
  • Unilateral or Bilateral tubal obstruction
  • History of Gonorrhea, Chlamydia
  • History of abdominal or tubal surgery
  • History of Myomectomy
  • History of ovarian surgery
  • History of endometriosis (any age)
  • History of PCOS (any age)
  • Failure to ovulate with Clomid or 2+ unsuccessful cycles of Clomid
  • Diagnosis of cancer
